“ We had the best food on our trip to the Okanagan here! With views you can’t beat and food that perfectly compliments it, we had a lovely time. We tried a couple of things including short ribs, risotto, heirloom tomato salad, as well as pork belly and scallops — all were amazing and the kitchen was able to make substitutions/changes with no fuss. As well, the staff were all so kind and quick to setup the patio shades when it started getting hot. We had a lovely experience here and I would really recommend it! :) ”
“ Outstanding food, wine, and views. I highly recommend the 3 course with wine pairing. My fiance and I were able to choose completely different meals and were able to taste 6 types of wine this way. I recommend not making a reservation at their latest time as some featured menu options ran out. We were able to snag one of their last ganache desserts but heard the table next to us not able to get it. ”
“ The food here is incredible. I had the Bavette and for dessert "The Pour Over" - the steak was cooked exactly to my liking and the dessert's presentation was incredible. For appetizers we had the chips and dip, the dip was so good! We had sat on the patio however due to the heat it was still extremely hot since Gray Monk still hadn't added the sprinklers for cooling. So we then moved indoors. Overall I would for sure return when in Lake Country again. Our waitress as well was lovely. ”
“ We had the best meal of our whole trip here (it was a lunch). From the breathtaking views, to the music selection, to the wine pairings, to the five-star food, I can't fault a single thing. Everything we ordered was worth every penny. We ordered the carrot risotto with prawns, heirloom tomato salad (the star of the meal, in my opinion), the pork belly with scallops (mouthwateringly delicious), and the sablefish. Would go back in a heartbeat, even at those prices. Truly spectacular. ”

“ Must visit!!!! Came here mid week with family visiting from Ontario and it did not disappoint! We were able to do a quick tasting in the winery thanks to Kat and Kiara. As we headed down the stairs, we were in awe of the flowers and the secret view hiding behind the door. We were greeted by Julie and Alexa, both were extremely friendly and inviting. They brought us to our table which had an amazing view overlooking the lake, absolutely spectacular. The patio is covered; after the sunset we watched the distant lightning across the lake. We were also treated to one of the best sunsets I have seen in the Okanagan. Our server Elizabeth was very kind and took such great care of us the entire meal. We had a great time chatting with her and she made great suggestions about food and wine pairings. The menu wasn’t big, but amongst the table we were all able to find something to enjoy. We shared the bison carpaccio, the scallop risotto, and the burrata, all were delicious. For mains all but one had the wagyu steak and the the other has the fish, all the mains were cooked to perfection and flavours were all so fresh and went together perfectly. We chose the Syrah from their sister property, Tinhorn Creek. For dessert the entire table picked “not a coffee” do not overlook this one, omg it was so good! As Elizabeth brought it over to the table, we were all confused. Order it and you will see! We complimented the dessert with a cappuccino, a great way to finish our meal. We were all stuffed at the end, but extremely happy we came here for dinner. The service and food were top notch, I highly recommend coming here!! ”
“ The Lookout Restaurant lives up to its name in more ways than one. The view from the patio is absolutely stunning – panoramic vistas and a retractable roof that will take your breath away. The star of our dining visit: the pork belly. It was unreal. Perfectly cooked, with a cracklingly crisp skin and melt-in-your-mouth tender meat. It was a flavor explosion that deserves a standing ovation. The flat-iron steak was also good, cooked to a perfect doneness and juicy, however, the 44 sticker price is a bit high for what you get. The sticky chocolate pudding was also good, with the warm fudge and vanilla ice cream on top of a chocolate cake. But it could have been warmer. We visited in June 2024 and I believe their menus change constantly. The service was also fantastic. And Abbey, our lovely server was very attentive to our needs and accommodated our schedule. Now, a couple of areas where Lookout could elevate their game. The organic chicken breast was a bit of a letdown, and it was rather dry, which came as a surprise as it was recommended. The calamari and the mushroom could be improved, and the time it took the food to arrive could be a bit quicker, but it did allow us to have longer conversations and appreciation for the view. Overall, the experience at Lookout Restaurant is definitely worth it, especially for the view and the phenomenal pork belly. If you're looking for a romantic evening or a special occasion venue, this place definitely delivers. ”
“ Great covered patio with awesome views. The platters, mains, and desserts were really good and the service staff were really friendly. Our meal took a while to arrive but that might have been due to our party size. I enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend trying it out. ”
